A LITTLE HELP, WHEN YOU NEED IT

Before you begin

A few useful answers before you start.

Which image formats can I convert?

JPG, JPEG and PNG files are supported. HEIC, GIF, SVG and other formats must be converted to JPG or PNG first. Each accepted image creates one PDF page.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Image decoding and PDF generation run on your device. SafePDFHub receives no image or PDF contents.

What are the image limits?

Select up to 100 images, with a maximum of 100 MB per image and 300 MB combined. Each image can contain up to 36 megapixels, with a maximum side of 16,384 pixels and 12 megapixels per rendered page. Available browser memory can still limit conversion; try fewer images if necessary.

Will images be cropped or lose quality?

Images keep their proportions and are centered without cropping. Transparent areas become white. Pages are encoded as high-quality JPEG images; images above 12 megapixels or 4,096 pixels on one side are resized to limit browser memory. This conversion is not lossless.

Can I change PDF page size?

Choose A4, US Letter or Fit image. A4 and Letter offer automatic, portrait or landscape orientation and 0, 10 or 20 mm margins. Fit image uses 96 DPI and no margin.

Can I edit settings after converting?

Yes. Back to settings keeps your images and their order in this tab. Convert more images clears the selection. Download the result before refreshing or closing the tab.

Will text in the images become searchable?

This tool creates image-based PDF pages. Use OCR PDF afterward if you need searchable printed text.
