Terms of Service
Last updated: September 14, 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of SafePDFHub and its PDF tools, including the browser-based editor and related pages. By using the service, you agree to use it lawfully and responsibly.
2. The service
SafePDFHub provides tools for working with PDF documents. Features may be added, changed, suspended, or discontinued as the product develops. We will try to keep important changes clear and avoid representing experimental functionality as guaranteed.
3. Your files and responsibility
You retain your rights to documents you open or process with SafePDFHub. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions to use those documents and for checking the result of any automated or programmatic PDF operation before relying on it.
Do not use SafePDFHub to process content in a way that violates applicable law, another person's rights, or contractual restrictions.
4. Local processing
Some SafePDFHub tools are designed to process files locally in your browser. Local processing is an architectural goal and feature-specific behavior, not a guarantee that every future service or integration will be local.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, abuse infrastructure, or use the service to facilitate unlawful activity.
6. Accuracy and output
PDF files can contain unusual fonts, layouts, annotations, encryption, malformed structures, or other features that affect processing. SafePDFHub does not guarantee that every document will be processed perfectly or that an exported file will be identical to the source in every circumstance.
You are responsible for reviewing important documents after editing, conversion, compression, or other processing.
7. Availability
The service is provided on an evolving basis. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every tool will remain available indefinitely.
8. Payments and refunds
At the time of publication, the SafePDFHub Support page does not process payments. If paid subscriptions, contributions, or other paid services are introduced, the applicable price, billing, cancellation, refund, and payment-provider terms will be published before the transaction is completed.
9. Intellectual property
SafePDFHub's software, branding, visual design, and original website content are owned by or licensed to the service operator unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute proprietary parts of the service except where applicable law or an explicit license permits it.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SafePDFHub is provided without guarantees beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. The service is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, compliance, or other specialist review of a document or its contents.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of the service. Any mandatory consumer rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
12. Changes and termination
We may update these terms as the service changes. We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or third parties, or to comply with law.
13. Governing law and contact
The final version of these terms will state the legal entity/operator, governing law, jurisdiction, and official notice address applicable to SafePDFHub. These details should be completed before commercial launch.
