Choose Export PDF, download the result, and review it before sharing.
Know before you edit
Complex fonts and layouts can affect existing-content edits. Visual editing is not secure redaction; original content may remain recoverable. Comments are session review notes and are not included in the exported PDF. Visible signatures are not certificate-based digital signatures. Export and download your PDF to keep your work.
PDF Studio questions
Are my PDFs uploaded to SafePDFHub?
Studio reads and processes your PDF on your device. It does not upload the document for editing. The website still requests application assets such as scripts and fonts.
Can I change existing PDF text and images?
Studio can edit detected PDF text and replace detected images. PDFs are not word-processing documents: embedded fonts, unusual encodings and complex layouts can affect detection and export. Review the downloaded PDF before sharing it.
Can I edit text in a scanned PDF?
Scanned pages usually contain an image rather than editable text. You can add new text in Studio. Use the separate OCR PDF tool to recognize printed text; OCR does not turn a scan into a fully editable Word-style document.
Does signing create a digital certificate signature?
Studio places visible signatures and initials on PDF pages. It does not create a certificate-based cryptographic digital signature. Editing an already digitally signed PDF may invalidate its existing signature.
Does Studio save my work automatically?
Your working document is held in the current Studio session. Export the PDF and download it before leaving or reloading. A warning protects unsaved edits, but it is not an automatic backup.
Which devices and PDFs work best?
Use an up-to-date browser. Available memory, page complexity and embedded images affect performance. Large or complex PDFs work best on a desktop; password-protected files require the correct password. Check the final PDF after exporting.
